At Pennywise Solutions, we know that this process can feel a bit daunting, not everyone is in a good place. We’re here to meet you with compassion and understanding. You choose how you want to communicate—whether it’s a friendly chat over the phone, an in-person meeting if you’re local, video call, or even a quick email or text. We’re here to guide you smoothly through this journey without adding any extra stress.

Onboarding:
When you decide to join us, we’ll take you through a thorough onboarding process, step by step. Depending on your specific needs we will either meet in person or you’ll receive all your onboarding documents via ShareFile, our secure file-sharing platform. Either way you'll receive the following documents that will need your prompt attention to get started:

The Engagement Letter outlining our discussions and plans to ensure clarity for both parties

Non-disclosure agreement providing you with legal assurance that your information remains confidential
-
Client Intake Form requesting personal and sensitive information—this is why the non-disclosure agreement is crucial! If you prefer, you can contact your bank for a view-only log-in, which is perfectly fine. But we're handling bill payments, we’ll need to use Quicken or QuickBooks for direct transactions.

ACH Authorization form allowing us to process payments for our agreed services
We know questions will arise as we get everything set, but the rest is up to us! We'll be busy completing tasks such as:

Setting up your Quicken or QuickBooks online account

Creating your chart of accounts
-
Linking your bank accounts
-
Adding vendors/merchants/payees
-
Setting up bill payments if needed
-
Creating your receipt/document management system to assist with keeping you in compliance.

Establishing a relationship with your accountant/tax preparer (if you have one) so that we can ensure we are all on the same page, ensuring a smooth end of year transition that will reduce your tax preparation costs.

Monthly Services:
Your monthly services will be tailored to what we discuss your consultation and confirm in the Engagement Letter. Your accounts will be up-to-date and reconciled monthly, with reports that give you a clear picture of your financial health!

Quarterly Services:
Each quarter, we’ll provide your accountant or tax preparer with the necessary reports to ensure your chart of accounts is in top shape for year-end tax filing.

End of Year Services:
At the end of the calendar year, we’ll have your finances perfectly organized for timely and smooth tax preparation and filing!
